KHORAFI BUSINESS MACHINES HOST KUWAIT
ENGLISH SCHOOL WORK SHADOWING PROGRAMME STUDENTS
{Left to right}, Yasmin Al Ayyoubi, Kuwait English School (KES); Shafiq Hamid, Brands Manager, KBM; Georges Kaldany, General Manager, KBM; Dustin Souza and Omar El Kayyali, KES.

KBM recently hosted three students from Kuwait English School’s work shadowing programme, where they spent two days learning about various aspects of working within the IT environment.
The familiarisation programme included an introduction to IBM and demonstrations of IBM hardware and software in typical business settings. The role of IT in the banking industry was also highlighted as was a typical day in the life of a certified engineer. The students were also given an overview of KBM’s integrated Technology Services (ITS) business.
“This is the second year that we have hosted KES students in this programme which we believe is very useful as it provides students who are reaching career decision-making time with an insight into working life in the IT field,” said Georges Kaldany, General Manager, KBM.
