GBM conducted a Linux Technical Enablement Session for GBM, IBM and business partners recently. The sessions were conducted by the IBM worldwide Linux Team in coordination with the GBM and IBM local teams at the GBM Training Room in Dubai. According to Mohamed Abdulhak, GBM’s Software Manager: “The sessions were based on Rapid Foundation for ebusiness, which covered building a complete website on Linux using WAS and DB2 in addition to eCommerce. Additionally there was hands-on training to enable coverage of more complex issues such as collaboration portal.” At the end of the session, students were shown a complete working demo on Linux covering WAS, DB2 and eCommerce, so they could gain familiarity with the Linux environment. |
