GBM is an interesting fusion of many parts not least that its DNA is shared with IBM. Almost two decades ago, in 1990, GBM was formed as a spin-off from IBM becoming the sole distributor, sales, service and support provider for a large part of the IBM portfolio. In 1999 GBM added Cisco to its partnership and further enhanced the value proposition GBM offers to its clients, partners and associates.
IBM and Cisco both continue to place full trust in GBM, as do more than 20 solid internationally-recognised solution providers which forged strategic partnerships with GBM. This has led many organisations in the region to entrust GBM with their IT infrastructure needs.
I am confident that GBM’s business will continue to show a healthy expansion, through organic growth and acquisitions – GBM successfully acquired IT companies in Dubai and Pakistan and is open to more of the same.
